About ASHLEY
"Think of the all-American warmth of Carrie Underwood, with the edgy but playful soulfulness of Sheryl Crow."
-Mallory Abreu, The Boston Globe
Ashley Gearing was just 12 years old in 2001, when she released her first single to country radio making her the youngest female to ever chart on the billboard charts. The county music community instantly welcomed the Boston area native. In the span of her career, Ashley has graced the stage of The Grand Opry multiple times, performed on stages ranging from Fenway Park to Park City, Utah, sharing the stage with stars like Richie Sambora, Kip Moore and Brad Paisley.
As an accomplished singer/songwriter, Ashley has collaborated with The Boston Pops and esteemed producers in Nashville such as Tim McGraw’s longtime producer Byron Gallimore and legendary Nashville guitarist Kenny Greenburg. She has been featured on several best selling Disney records for young adults, as well as various synch spots on ABC.
Ashley spent 10 years with Curb Records honing her craft all while achieving a bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Business Studies and Public Relations from the famous Belmont University in Nashville.
Ashley’s strong and edgy personality is infused into every lyric of her songs but still represents the vulnerable artist she is. She excels most when on stage in front of a crowd telling the story and meaning behind the words of the song she’s about to belt out.
Now, a veteran at age 26, this 5’10” beauty with a commanding stage performance is more ready than ever to show the world the emotional, entertaining powerhouse she truly is.
"AS A PERFORMER, ASHLEY BRINGS STYLE AND GRACE TO ANY SHOW SHE IS A PART OF. HER VOICE IS EXTRAORDINARY AND HER ABILITY TO GRACEFULLY TELL THE STORIES BEHIND HER SONGS DRAW THE AUDIENCE INTO HER PERFORMANCE, CREATING AN INTIMATE EXPERIENCE FOR ANYONE LUCKY ENOUGH TO ATTEND ONE OF HER SHOWS."
